IT'S OK TO PRINT THIS E-MAIL: PAPER IS A RECYCLED-RENEWABLE-SUSTAINABLE RESOURCE.
I saw this at the bottom of an e-mail I got from someone in the industry this morning. I really like it. So many people in the industry who are trying to acknowledge the need for sustainability in the industry and elsewhere have tag lines on their e-mails telling people to think twice before printing an e-mail. That always makes me rankle when I see it. Electronic communication has a sustainability price tag, just as printed communication does. We need balance, but if you recycle your office or home paper waste, you are helping out the environment, so go ahead and print that e-mail!
